These terms and conditions govern your use of this website, by using this website it is deemed that you accept these terms and conditions.

The website is owned and operated by Drayton Welding & Tool Connections Ltd. The content of the website is for customers general use and information only, contents are subject to change without prior notice.

Goods are offered subject to availability; the company reserves the right to cancel any order if insufficient goods are available. To place an order through the website you confirm that you are over 18 years old. The customer gives permission that any personal information collected, is to be used with the intention of processing a quotation, order or delivery of goods. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that all information is correct.

Online Orders

Any date and time given for delivery of goods by the company is an estimate only, the company are not liable for any consequences due to delay. Once an order has been received by the company, the order will be processed, and an acknowledgment will be sent via email. It is the customers responsibility to check and inform of any discrepancies from their requirements.

All orders are subject to acceptance by the company. Prices charged will be the price shown on the date of order as displayed on the website. If a pricing error is discovered, we will inform the customer as soon as possible. Whilst the company endeavours to maintain the descriptions and pricing on the website, occasional price or specification changes may require items to be removed from the website. Should said items have been ordered, the order may be cancelled, and any payment refunded.

All prices shown are exclusive of VAT (where applicable) unless otherwise stated. VAT and delivery charges will be added in the checkout stage.

Delivery

Delivery of goods will be made to the address given by the customer. It is therefore the customers responsibility to ensure the address, email and telephone number supplied are correct. A signatory is required to sign for the delivery of goods. It is the customers responsibility to ensure packages are properly examined prior to acceptance. Mainland UK deliveries will be completed by either our own delivery vehicle or by a reputable courier company and charged at the rates shown on the website.

Customers may be required to pay extra for where non-standard services are required. If the company is unable to deliver to the customers location, the customer will be notified by email and offered an alternate method for delivery or asked to provide an alternate delivery destination. If no solution can be found, the company reserves the right to cancel the customer's order and refund the customers payment.

If the customer's order is returned by the courier because the delivery could not be completed for any reason, the customer will be responsible for any additional costs. In the event of non-delivery, the company will contact the customer to arrange either re-delivery or cancelling the order, the company will refund the customer's payment, less delivery charges.
The customer shall, unless otherwise specifically agreed, be responsible for providing adequate labour and facilities at the delivery points for unloading goods, and shall keep the company indemnified against all claims whatever arising from such unloading operations.

The customer must ensure that all deliveries are properly examined prior to acceptance. If a delivery is damaged or incorrect, please indicate on the courier delivery note and contact the company within 24hrs of receipt by phone or email. Unless the customer has a trade account with the company, payment in full is required at the point of sale. No goods will be dispatched until full payment has been received.

Refunds & Returns

Cancellation of orders already accepted by the company will be accepted only at the company’s discretion and the company may charge for all work carried out, or expenses incurred by it prior to the date of despatch. Please contact the company for a returns authorisation number prior to returning any goods, the returns number should be clearly displayed on any returned packages. Where goods supplied by the company carry a manufacturer’s warranty the company shall pass the benefit thereof to the customer.

The company will replace or at its option repair free of charge or refund the price of any goods in which defects solely attributable to faulty materials appear within the manufacturer’s warranty period and the validity of said claim is confirmed by the manufacturer provided the customer notifies the company immediately of any such defects detected and return the goods (if so requested) at their own cost. No liability is accepted for customers remedial expenses, damage to the property, loss of profits, or consequential damage, loss or injury however caused. All other conditions and warranties relating to the characteristics of the goods their quality or fitness whether express or implied by statute or otherwise, expressly excluded.

The company shall not be held liable for any failure on the part of the customer to comply in all respects to relevant safety precautions and transportation, handling, storing or fixing instructions set out or referred to in the manufacturer's latest trade literature, or incorrect use of goods, and the customer shall indemnify the company against any cost, claims or demands which may be incurred by the company because of any such failure on the part of the customer.
